- Feedback: Due to the high volume of applications, we cannot provide individual feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
Funding Restrictions
The Doing Good Together Fund does not support applications that:

- Support groups promoting or directly linked to a political party.
- Support any organisation that is unlawful or involved in unlawful activities.
If You Are Successful
If your application is successful, any grant money you receive is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Our Contract with You
Once your application is approved we will send you an email confirming that you will receive a grant. By accepting the grant, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Usage: Only the nominated group or cause may spend the grant, and it must be used to carry out the project as described in your application.
- Good Faith: You agree to act in good faith, including not providing false, inaccurate, or misleading information about the project or using the grant for purposes other than those stated in your application.
- Feedback: When prompted, you agree to provide feedback on the project, detailing how the grant was spent and the impact it had
2. Grant Repayment
We reserve the right to ask you to repay all or part of your grant if we determine that:
- You used it in a way that contradicts the fund's aims or these terms and conditions.
3. Payment of Funding
- Bank Transfer: Your grant will be transferred directly into your bank account, which must be in your organisation's registered name.
Or
- JustGiving Platform: Alternatively, the grant may be paid directly to the JustGiving platform, if you notified us of this in your application. Whilst this is the preferred digital platform option the judging committee may consider, in exceptional circumstances using an alternative to pay the award to.
- Currency: Grants will be paid in pounds sterling only.
- Goods Instead of Money: In some cases, we may provide goods instead of money, particularly if your request involves support for events where refreshments are needed. We will contact you if this applies.
Publicity and Marketing
- Promotion: We will publicise successful projects in-store, online, and on our Member App as part of our Doing Good Together programme. You agree that we can use any information and images you provide in our publicity or marketing, which may be shared with our members, customers, the media, and the public.
- Content Editing: You agree that we can edit or change the wording of any written content you provide to fit our tone of voice guidelines. We may not use the wording in your application verbatim and may adapt as appropriate to the relevant mode of communication being applied.
- Community Sharing: We want everyone to hear the great work you are doing and hope you would want that as well. We would want you to share the news of your grant with your local community and via your own social media platforms. We will provide you with the means to do that.
- Press Releases: You agree to provide information of the good things you are doing and quotes to our PR agency for press releases.
Photo Usage
For any photos you provide:
- You agree that you own the photos and all rights to them.
- You have obtained permission from anyone appearing in the photos for us to use them.
